A quick word of warning from personal experience – I’ve seen a couple of houses which were adorned effectively on this fashion. And, kudos to those who have the vision, ardour and artistic sense to pull it of; it is a daring alternative, for sure. I have also, sadly, seen examples that didn’t integrate nicely or had been taken too far.
